Eleven MPS schools awarded a $500 grant to enhance educational programs.  Grants awarded based on outstanding record of giving in Combined Giving Campaign.

MPS Reading is Fundamental (RIF) Program
Funds used to support a book distribution program at 44 MPS schools. About 25,000 students will select and keep three books. The grant award is matched 3:1 by the National RIF Program.

Grant to MPS Health & Physical Education designated for Best Friends/Best Men Program through a grant from the Lynde & Harry Bradley Foundation.

Milwaukee Board of School Directors' Excellence in Education Awards
Each month, the Milwaukee Board of School Directors recognizes an outstanding school, student, staff member, or parent or community member for a display of excellence, achievement, and innovation that may serve as an example to our school district and the entire Milwaukee community. MPS teachers recognized receive $250 through contributions to the MPS Foundation.
